Looking for the perfect gift for the reader in your life?

Our Friends group could be just the thing…

Exeter Literary Festival promotes appreciation of words in all their forms, and of writing and literature within Exeter and the surrounding area, through professionally organised and widely accessible literary events.

The programme for this year’s festival, scheduled for 5th to 7th November, is gradually coming together and guests announced so far include: Ann Cleeves, creator of Shetland and Vera; Paul Atterbury, forty-year stalwart of Antiques Road Show; harpist and local author, Hazel Prior, whose wonderful latest novel Away With the Penguins is a Richard and Judy Book Club pick for 2021; and Mike Thomson, BBC Correspondent, talking about the Secret Library in Syria.

We are keeping everything crossed we will be able to run a normal set of events this year. But if there are restrictions still in place, priority will be given to members of the Friends Group. So if you want to be certain of your seats for this year’s festival (and let’s face it, we’re all looking forward to being able to get out there again), why not sign up today?
