This event celebrates publication of the 12th volume of Riptide journal and will include readings, live music and refreshments. The collection contains stories by Emily Ford, twice winner of the V.S.Pritchett short story award; award-winning Linda Cracknell, fiction, non-fiction and radio drama writer and Graham Mort whose awards include the Edgehill prize for best short story collection. Featured poets include Anthony Wilson, whose Lifesaving Poems was published by Bloodaxe in 2015 and whose latest collection is The Afterlife and poet / creative writing professor / musician Andy Brown whose latest book is Casket. Editors poet Sally Flint and novelist Virginia Baily will introduce the book and there will be short readings from some of the contributors. This is a free but ticketed event as numbers are limited. Copies of the anthology will be for sale.
